Ethics first Organisations include those entities whose businesses operate within strong ethical and environmental disciplines. They believe that ethics do not have to conflict with the business of making money, rather the opposite, that they enhance value and productivity in society.

Some people say that it is the way the world is that makes it go round. Ethics first organisations believe that it is those who lead and act not only with their own self interests in mind that shape all that we hold dear in our world.  They demonstrate a commitment to delivering safe, ethical products and services and a commitment to educate those in society about their services, products and objectives in a balanced and objective manner.

Ethics first businesses and individuals take responsibility for leadership in their areas of expertise and the operation of their businesses in society and in their community.  Importantly they support community based organisations whose aim is to foster the development, interaction and support of the community.

These organisations are for profit organisations and are not charities but they realise the importance of a healthy social structure, a clean environment and strong community leadership and social values.

Good ethical standards go hand in hand with high professional standards.  It is impossible to have the highest ethical standards if you do not have the highest professional standards and the expertise and experience needed to do the job properly.  Good ethics comes with a good vision of your field.  Ethics is an awareness of the consequences of your actions.

TAMRIS in the Community

TAMRIS works within the community to educate mature adults and those who work closely with them about financial abuse arising from inappropriate financial advice and what their wealth managers should be doing if they are to properly manage their money.

TAMRIS gives talks regularly to community centres, to mature adult groups, to churches, to retirement homes to senior centres and charities and other non profit organisations dedicated towards supporting and educating the mature adult and those responsible for the welfare of the mature adult.

Overcoming ignorance through education and raising awareness is key to defeating financial, emotional and physical abuse.  While TAMRIS is a for profit organisation, the plight of the vulnerable, mature adult is firmly within its long term goal of raising standards in the financial services industry.
